NextLevel - JavaScript Community Vietnam
NextLevel was a community initiative I started while living in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The goal was to build a stronger JavaScript developer community and provide learning opportunities for local developers.
Living as an expat developer in Vietnam, I noticed a gap between the growing tech scene and the need for knowledge sharing and community building. NextLevel aimed to bridge this gap by creating connections between international developers and the local Vietnamese tech community.
The project focused on practical learning and real-world application of JavaScript technologies, moving beyond basic tutorials to tackle actual development challenges faced by local teams.
Key activities included:

The community grew organically through word-of-mouth and became a valuable resource for developers looking to advance their JavaScript skills. Many participants went on to secure better positions or start their own projects.
NextLevel demonstrated the power of community-driven learning and the importance of creating inclusive spaces for knowledge sharing across cultural and language boundaries.
